The Road Less Traveled with Tara Savage

Chris Norris Season 1 Episode 9

In this episode, we speak with Tara Savage, an American ex-pat, school teacher, and mother of three who discovered running later in life.

After living and traveling worldwide, Tara started running five years ago after being invited by a friend to join a 10K run. Since then, she has developed a passion for long ultra-distance runs, participating in numerous ultra-distance races around Southeast Asia. Recently, Tara placed on the podium of a 100-mile mountain run in Doi Inthanon, the tallest peak in Thailand.

Tara shares how she found similarities and crossovers between immersing in a new culture and fully engaging in running and how the challenges and triumphs of running bleed into every facet of life. She is a living example of an ordinary person attempting and completing extraordinary things, a picture of a life well-lived.

Join us as we learn more about Tara's journey and how she inspires others to pursue their passions and live life to the fullest.
